Coverage and Capacity solutions

Our Cell Extender products are designed to extend the range and coverage area of Base Stations in all Cellular, SMR and PCS applications.

The Cell Extender boosts the output power of the Base Station allowing for cost efficient implementation of high capacity radio networks. It also provides low-noise amplification of the receive signal to improve system sensitivity and to maintain a balanced link of transmit and receive signals. This is achieved thru our selection of Tower Top Amplifiers(TTA). The TTA system is available for single or multi-sector configurations with one, two, or three branch diversity systems. The tower top amplifier is packaged in a single, compact, tower mount, NEMA 4X moisture proof enclosure. An indoor rack mount power distribution unit is also available to provide all the necessary voltage and alarm monitoring functions.
The tower top amplifiers are available in full duplex and simplex arrangements
for SMR, PCS, and Cellular operating frequencies. All TTA’s are available with
built-in lightning surge protection, full LNA redundancy or bypass configuration
and built-in alarm and monitoring functions.
