Temperature Testing

thermonics

These products facilitate testing of electronic devices at temperature. Typical applications include research and development, device validation, product engineering, quality assurance, and production test. The main product families are:

T-2500 : The premier product family, the T-2500 series of Precision Temperature Forcing Systems set a higher standard for performance and value than other available systems. Products in this group are obtainable with a variety of design and performance options to meet the needs of an assortment of test specifications. Variations in arm design coupled with different strategies in the heating and cooling mechanism, provide a wide range of available systems. The core product in this family, the T-2500SE, has a temperature range of -90C to 225C and can transition air temperatures between +125C and -55C in as little as 4 seconds.

T-2600BV : The portable product offering. Bench-top size packaging makes the units light, compact and easy to transport. The smaller size facilitates use in applications where traditional temperature forcing systems may be impractical due to weight and size constraints: such as a lab setting, or when the application has a low volume of devices to test. Systems in this category typically have a temperature range of -30C to +200C.

T-2800 : The mid-range product offering provides a balance between feature-sophistication and economy. Ideal for functional test stations, this series of products enables trouble-free testing of electronic components over a temperature range of -60C to +200C. The systems are easy to use and deliver fast and accurate test results. For facilities that do not have an air source, the T-2800 is fully self-contained, eliminating the need for installation of an external air compressor.

Precision Passive Intermod Analyzer - PiMPro

PIM PRO BAG

PIM PRO

Passive Intermodulation (PIM), the new benchmark in antenna system health, has become one of the greatest challenges of frequency planners in today’s mobile communication systems. System planners, equipment and component vendors alike are faced with the ever changing dynamics of higher transmit signals and basestation sensitivity and the nonlinear response of two or more frequency signals causing serious interference and network signal degradation. With the uncertainty of the root cause of PIM in any given system, the need to deploy specific testing solutions in a professional, reliable instrument has become paramount in maintaining the overall antenna health for system providers.

PiMPro has been designed to meet these challenges. Its compact, portable yet rugged features provide maximum power in a reliable, field proven design without compromising the accuracy and precision of intermodulation measurements.

By design, the PiMPro Precision Passive Intermod Analyzer provides precise measurement of the 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th order of intermodulation of any system or component under high-power conditions. In addition to passive intermodulation measurements, the unit will provide VSWR and Return Loss values. PiMPro can be used to verify the integrity of individual passive components including connectors, cable assemblies, antennas, filters, making it an integral performance tool in the field and in the lab.

As a leading provider of wireless basestation enhancement products, CCI set out to design and develop a reliable solution to system performance and enhancement challenges. PiMPro employs state-of-the-art technology and is built to meet the demands and needs of today’s wireless suppliers.

Excellent all-inclusive RF and analog modulation performance up to 3 or 6 GHz
The E4428C ESG analog signal generator delivers outstanding spectral purity, level accuracy, output power, and analog modulation performance up to 3 or 6 GHz for all general-purpose test needs. This makes the E4428C ESG a superb choice for general-purpose tests requiring CW, AM, ØM, and FM receiver and component test signals in the cellular, ISM, and UNII frequency bands.

Lowest Single-Sideband (SSB) phase noise performance in its price class
Single-Sideband (SSB) phase noise is an extremely important specification of a signal generator. For example, if used for measuring the adjacent channel selectivity of a receiver, your test results might indicate a failure when your receiver is actually functioning properly if the phase noise of the signal generator is too high. With a typical SSB phase noise performance of -134 dBc/Hz at 20 kHz offset from a 1 GHz carrier, the E4428C ESG will meet your demanding performance needs. Other key applications that require high spectral purity include LO substitution, low-jitter clock stimulus, blocking/interference signals, and in-channel measurements close to the carrier. See application note Signal Generator Spectral Purity Considerations in RF Communications Testing in the Product Library for more information on signal generator spectral purity considerations.
